At Coastal Porch Décor, your safety and the integrity of your home and décor are our top priorities. To ensure a smooth and safe experience for all our customers, we’ve established the following Inclement Weather & Hurricane Policy:

1. Service Suspension During Severe Weather

If a hurricane, tropical storm, or other major weather event is forecasted to impact our service area, Coastal Porch Décor will temporarily suspend all deliveries, installations, and removal services until it is safe to resume operations.

Customers with scheduled appointments will be contacted directly to reschedule or modify their service.

2. Pre-Storm Removal Option

If your home is under a storm watch or warning, we strongly encourage customers to contact us to schedule early removal of all porch décor.

We offer:

Priority removal scheduling for high-risk areas
Assistance with storing lightweight or fragile items if they pose a risk in high winds

3. Customer Responsibility

While we make every effort to design stable, weather-conscious displays, Coastal Porch Décor is not responsible for damage caused by severe weather, high winds, flooding, or flying debris once décor has been installed.

We recommend:

Moving lightweight or unsecured items indoors in advance of a storm
Notifying us immediately if removal is needed

4. Post-Storm Recovery & Reset Services

After a major weather event, we offer post-storm reset or replacement services, including:

Debris removal from porch displays
Replacement of damaged pumpkins or décor (based on availability)
New seasonal setup if décor was removed for safety

Fees may apply depending on the extent of replacement or damage.

5. Communication & Alerts

In the event of an approaching storm, we will:

Notify all scheduled customers via text, email, or phone with updates and recommendations
Post service updates on our website and social media channels
